St. Patrick's Coloring Contest/Scholorship
The Sons of Erin Division sponsors an annual St. Patrick’s Day contest for 2nd and 6th grade students in the Diocese of Nashville Catholic schools. For the second graders this program has been incorporated into their core curriculum diocesan wide. Students are asked to color a picture of Saint Patrick and write a short essay espousing those virtues and lessons learned about him.
6th graders engage in a project of their choice.
The winners each receive school tuition vouchers and an Irish Catholic rosary with shamrock beads. The first-place winner receives a $500 voucher, second-place $250, third-place $100. The Sons of Erin Division is proud to continue this sponsorship and initiative honoring the patron saint of Ireland.
St. Patrick's Day Events

Sumner County Irish Festival
The County Sumner Irish Festival is a fantastic event held in March at Bledsoe’s Fort Historical Park in Castalian Springs, Tennessee. The park is home to an authentic Irish cottage built by Hugh Rogan in the late 1790s.
